Ghost World – Daniel Clowes

Ghost World (1997) is a about two girls, Enid Coleslaw and Rebecca Doppelmeyer, recently graduated from high school and living in a small American town. The characters in the story include small town weirdos, rebellious adolescents, and their well-meaning families. Relatable in their superficial everyday drivel, and their morbid fascination with anything weird or creepy, Enid and Rebecca perfectly capture how it feels to be on the cusp of adulthood, unsure about what the future holds and unmotivated to pursue anything, the only thing certain is the feeling of restlessness that haunts them.
